Charmaine Cartwright knew she wanted to go into the medical field because it's her passion to help people in need. She loves learning how each system of the human body works and how it is vital to everyday living.
The Connect to Your Future Program provided her the opportunity to reach her goals. The financial assistance and emotional support from each member of the team helped her during this journey. She attended Genesis Healthcare Institute to earn her Medical Assistant certification. She is currently working at Advent Health, doing what she loves! She continues to challenge herself to take every day as an opportunity to be better than the day before. She would like to further her education by pursuing a bachelor's degree in biology. At this moment, she is unsure where she would like to go.
Her advice for others is do what TRULY makes you happy. Don't do what others expect you to do, live your life unapologetically. Enjoy it!
